A Taste of the AMA's

The American Music Awards showcase a huge amount of talent.. and some pretty fantastic red carpet looks! Musicians (and other celebs) are out to celebrate a great year of music, but it all starts with the crazy red carpet.

I love that people are really bold when they work it at the AMA's. They def play up the fun/sexy vibe of this show and have a great time as they walk the royal walk.

Now- an outrageous look is not always critic friendly (Ke$ha/Nikki Minaj) but hey.. this show is definitely the one to have a blast at!

Here are a couple of my faves from the night:

Miley looks AMA-ZING. (ha! see that? I'm brilliant) Her Marchesa is a perfect amount of class and sass. I'm obsessed!

I'm kind of loving seeing Taylor with a new look. I think it's fun and fresh! Might want to get the girl a burger tho.

Now the girls weren't the only ones looking fine on the red carpet! I think Ryan Kwanten's laid back style is super sexy, and it's just enough polish for a red carpet!

Ooh la la: Emmy Madness

scrunched with the paparazzi, I had a pretty unconventional view of the red carpet fashion! Aggressive photogs, incredible couture, and fabulous fresh faces were all around me- how lucky am I?! It's hard to choose favorite looks, but here are a few lovely looks that I'm lusting after!

Jayma Mays, in Burberry, with a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and Neil Lane jewels.
She looks STUNNING! love the fringe-like details on the dress, and the blue was def a Emmy red carpet trend!

Rose Byrne, in Gucci with Bochic jewelry.

I think the metal detailing on Ms. Byrne's dress is gorgeous! Its fresh and funky, but still totally glam for the carpet!

January Jones, in Atelier Versace, with Miu Miu shoes and Cartier jewels.

This blue is electric and I'm obsessed. The contrast between her beautiful blonde hair, popping blue Versace, and the sweetness of the red carpet makes this a totally winning look. I think the structure is perfect for Emmys! LOVE!

Big things..

.. are brewing in my mind! excitement. Can't wait til it turns into reality.

ooh la la: high fashion

Alexander McQueen is pretty much the epitomy of high fashion. The looks from the Spring 2010 Runway are insane/brilliant.

There are lots of variations on these "hoofs", but I'm seriously loving the bejeweled variety. The colors are stunning, and these are beyond chic. Not a shoe made for running.. or dancing/standing/movement of any sort. But fashion wise- adore!!

I love that every aspect of the runway exaggerated the concept and enhanced McQueen's high fashion glamour. The models hair was crazyfabulous!

More shoes- because these heels are just too amazing!
I'm ob.sessed with unique pumps- and these are pretty much the definition! They're a little bit jurassic park/a little bit awesome.

Teen Choice Awards

The 2010 Teen Choice Awards! All the madness went down last night, and tonight the best of the best (or as much twilight and bieber as they can fit?) will air on Fox! Peep the winners (SpOiLeR!).. and read on for some fashion highlights!

Selena Gomez kinda has my fave outfit. How fabulous does she look? That white is summer perfection- and paired with nude heels? Insane. She's seriously adorbale, age appropriate (hi.. 16ish? really? ahh I'm old) but still totally hot and made a major splash on the red (blue) carpet. LOVES!

Leighton Meester- xoxo love your outfit.
Her dangerously short creme Pucci dress is amazing- espesh when you have her legs. I have leg jealousy.. is that weird?
And her shoes are ah.mazing.

To take a line from TCA Host Katy Perry- miss Lea Michele is looking fine, fresh, fierce.. she's got it going on. But seriously.. that Naeem Khan dress looks hott and she's looking incredible. Perf look for a laid back award show. And her hair and makeup are faboo.

I haven't quite hopped on the Betty White train... but I just had to talk about Sandra Bullocks outfit. Leather pants+heather top+hot heels+easy breezy hair=killer.
Love this.. and I think it's totally appropriate for the TCA's. Way to go SB!

So clearly just walking down the runway in sky high heels wasn't enough of a challenge- Martin Margiela added blindfolds to the Fall 2010 Maison Martin Margiela Couture show.. yikes!!

these shoes are wild. Is it just me or do her legs look scary long?
I guess skinnytwig+crazyshoes=whoa.

ya-ya's

I'm beyond lucky with the people in my life.

I have amazing people spread across North America.. which is awesome.. until I want to see them! Being far away from these bright lights is a total bummer.

It's funny how people can grow up, and even though we may be so far away from our initial connection, we still have this incredible friendship. Missing my ya-ya's. Thanks for always being beautiful, strong, outstanding woman. I am so fortunate to have y'al in my life!!

Dreaming of Choo's

Success is when I can buy any pair of shoes my heart desires.

I'll get there one day. I believe it!

ob.sessed!

YUMMY! Look how insanely amazing these Christian Louboutin heels are. I am in love.
These are definitely master pieces- and I want to parade them around town desperately. eek. Loving the bold colors.
These ah.mazing shoes can be purchased here. .xx.

ooh la la: NYFW

I have serious love for these twins. I think they're fierce and fabulous and I want to be friends with them! Wish I coulda gone to The Row fashion show- I bet it was amazzing. All their designs are delish and I want want want!!!

Ooh lala!

Paris Fashion week is under way, and all I can say is: YES! There are some seriously fierce looks strutting down the runway! Wish I could grab some of these pieces to brighten up my wardrobe! Ah, how amazing would that be!!!

I pulled some of my fave looks so far- but check out Harpers Bazaar for more more more!

The whole Valentino show looked amazing (obvs) and I especially adore this look!! Love the girly/rocker mix. It's fierce but feminine and I love love love it!

Christophe Decarnin for Balmain has a rocker vibe as well. The shoulder detail on this jacket is what really won me over- but I adore the whole look. It's glam but rugged, and I love that!

The color of this Lanvin dress is really what caught my eye. The peacock green is stunning! Pair it with nude heels, and the look is to die for!

xo

omg I want. I need.

YUM! These Alexander McQueen Titanic Ballerina Pumps are seriously incredible.

I love the contrast between the super girly ballerina toe and the metal, robotic heel. SEXII!!

Glitz and Glam: The Golden Globes

A weekend at the Bev Hilton for the Golden Globes? Yes, I am a lucky girl. Working the red carpet, mingling with the brightest stars in Hollywood, making out with George Clooney... waiiit.. oops! Ok, ok, so I wasn't sitting there downing champagne and explaining to Courtney why we really do need to work together, but I really couldn't feel any luckier to be a part of the whole Golden Globe experience!

The red carpet for E! was super fab. I love live TV, and sometimes you just get super lucky to work with brilliant people. Luckily for me.. this seems to just keep happening.

When we go live- anything can happen. It's controlled madness, and I love it! There's such a great energy, plus it's a red carpet so there are beautiful people all around!! Sunday was a little soggy on the carpet, but all the glamorous celebs seemed to have a great attitude and thoroughly enjoy themselves!

As always- it was a fabulous night for fashion! I brushed shoulders with some incredible gorgeous women, and some ridiculously good looking men! I can't put all my loves on here, so I chose three women who I think hit the globes looking absolutely stunning:
:::::::::::::::::
Jennifer Aniston can really do no wrong in my book. And at the globes, she proved that simple black can be the most dramatic, sexy look!

Valentino gown plus Versace shoes equals hot hot hot.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Seriously, I think this is the best I've ever seen Toni Collette look. Her Elie Saab dress is absolutely amazing! Love the color- love the sparkles- loove the whole red carpet look.

A def winning look for a proud globe "Best Actress" winner. Congrats Toni!

::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Presenting my final fave look of the night: Christina Aguilera in Versace. This one is a serious serious winner for me. I loove the coloring, and cut.. yes yes yes EVERYTHING works!

Can't wait for the rest of awards season! xx
