Disappointing Dogs

The Boyf is on a hot dog kick, so when I read about Fritzi Dog, a newly opened stand at The Grove, I was super excited to stop by with him.

We weren't the only ones with the Saturday morning hot dog idea (but probably the only ones eating them for breakfast at 2pm) but we waited in line and perused the menu. I love that there are so many options; different dogs, buns and toppings! We both went pretty basic with the stadium dogs but I went with the fancy pretzel bun!

Cute place and nice people, but I just wasn't impressed with the food. The hot dogs weren't that tasty, my bun was dry and we left less than impressed. Next time, we'll stick to the awesome meat sold just down the way at Marconda's Meats!

Definitely a great cream for the winter months and I need to go out and get a body cream because I swear one of these days I’m about to start using the face cream all over!!

Wild Side: The Grammys

The Grammy Awards are a perfect opportunity for people to get a little bit crazy on the red carpet. Right there in the schedule with the super elegant (yet still fun of course) Golden Globes, SAG and Oscar carpets- this is the one to let loose and flaunt the wild side!!

Ciara showed a lot of skin in her fabulous Emilio Pucci gown- and looked super hot while doing it. Girl has been working out!! This is the one place you can get away with lotsa leg plus slinky cutouts.

Rihanna was flaunting a barely there Jean-Paul Gaultier Couture gown- and I'm kind of loving it! I think it's bold and flashy, and perf for the Grammys!

I think that Miley is beautiful. People need to lay off the girl and let her have some fun! This Roberto Cavalli Grammy gown looked stunning- fun and wild! Plus her hair n makeup looked beeautiful!

The Glee girls looked fabulous all around. All very edgy and young which I loove for the Grammys! Perfect time to let the rocker shine! I think Lea Michelle and Naya Rivera's dresses were my fave of the bunch, but Dianna Agron had the best Grammy hair. Perf combo of sexy, rough and wild. She's a little bit glam, and a little bit rock n roll!

A Taste of the AMA's

The American Music Awards showcase a huge amount of talent.. and some pretty fantastic red carpet looks! Musicians (and other celebs) are out to celebrate a great year of music, but it all starts with the crazy red carpet.

I love that people are really bold when they work it at the AMA's. They def play up the fun/sexy vibe of this show and have a great time as they walk the royal walk.

Now- an outrageous look is not always critic friendly (Ke$ha/Nikki Minaj) but hey.. this show is definitely the one to have a blast at!

Here are a couple of my faves from the night:

Miley looks AMA-ZING. (ha! see that? I'm brilliant) Her Marchesa is a perfect amount of class and sass. I'm obsessed!


I'm kind of loving seeing Taylor with a new look. I think it's fun and fresh! Might want to get the girl a burger tho.

Now the girls weren't the only ones looking fine on the red carpet! I think Ryan Kwanten's laid back style is super sexy, and it's just enough polish for a red carpet!
